On August 13th, 2024, the CyberQP team closed another successful XChange Security event in San Antonio, Texas. Our time connecting with MSP partners affirmed our mission to continue offering innovative Privileged Access Management solutions and an impactful Partner Experience to the channel.
Today, we’ll be taking a look back at our time at XChange, and sharing what we learned from our partners:
The Problem with Privileges
This week, we said hello to Paul Redding, CyberQP’s new SVP of Channel Marketing and Communities, who joined Jim Jessup (Co-Founder and COO of CyberQP) in the XChange boardrooms for a series of talks diving into the risks persistent admin accounts pose to MSP and SMB security, and the access controls that cyber insurance providers and compliance frameworks require today to address these threats.
MSPs also saw how they could achieve zero standing privileges across multiple attack surfaces, from privileged administrator accounts to their PSA solution. We ran live demos of CyberQP Passwordless Just-in-Time (JIT) Access to show how our partners can set time limits on admin access and mitigate the risks associated with compromised credentials, and CyberQP Help Desk Security Automation, which enables technicians to complete Tier 1 tickets without leaving their PSA or using over-provisioned admin access.
Stronger Together: A Partner-First Experience
Outside of the boardrooms, the CyberQP team enjoyed catching up with our partners and meeting new help desk managers at our booth in the XChange Solutions Pavilion.
Many of our Channel Account Managers touched down in San Antonio for the chance to meet the people they had been supporting face-to-face.
Our partners told us that the fact that our team knew partners and their teams by name reaffirmed their decision to partner with CyberQP, and that they truly appreciated the opportunity to expand their relationship. These conversations in the booth and over dinner affirmed that we’re on the right track – and that we must continue to introduce new resources to help MSPs and help desks understand why cybersecurity matters in today’s threat landscape, despite growing economic concerns.
We’re really looking forward to building more trust and collaboration at future events.

As XChange Security came to a close, the CyberQP celebrated 4 awards nominations at The Channel Company’s XCellence Awards Ceremony, including:

That night, we were incredibly grateful to take home the Vendor Evolution Award for the second month in a row, and to take home the XCellence in Boardroom Execution Award four our series of conversations around achieving Zero Standing Privileges. We’re truly honored that the MSPs who joined us in San Antonio this week resonated with our mission and our solutions.
