Connecting MSPs with Experts Left and Right of Boom | Huntress Roadshow Recap, Weeks 1-3

  • MSP Resources

The first half of Huntress’ nationwide roadshows is in the books! We’re grateful to all of the partners and prospects that stopped by Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Dallas, Denver, and New York City to see CyberQP, FifthWall Solutions, and Huntress in their cities!

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights in our travels:

How to Proactively Prepare for Cyber Attacks

Many of our conversations centered around incident response readiness. Huntress brought their Managed EDR expertise to help MSPs build out their IR plans, and shared best practices on where these plans should be shared, and how they should be accessible in the event of a breach. They also offered an updated look at the sophisticated threats they’re detecting today, including the Evilginx framework.

FifthWall contributed several key discussions about responding to a potential incident. As a cyber insurance provider for MSPs, they emphasized how important it is to have your insurance agent be one of your first calls in an emergency. They also offered several actionable tips on figuring out the nuances and specific requirements of your MSP’s cyber insurance policy.

At CyberQP, we offered some guidance on how to proactively lock down one of the most common entry vectors for attackers: compromised credentials and impersonation attempts. We dove into how MSPs can remove always-on admin access and replace it with Just-in-Time access, backed by a passwordless login experience to mitigate the risks associated with a threat actor getting reused or static credentials from a leak.

Offering Unique Experiences to the Channel

However, we didn’t just talk shop in our partners’ cities. We also treated MSP attendees to several incredible tours and visits to local venues, from a tour of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ stadium, to an open gate brewery and the Spyscape Museum, displaying exhibits spanning espionage in World War II and modern cyberwarfare.

Ultimately, we can’t wait to have more insightful discussions and meet more MSPs on the road – this roadshow series with Huntress has been a whirlwind, and we’re grateful that we get to offer our mutual partners and new connections valuable knowledge and an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day work of securing their end users and enjoy connecting with their peers over new experiences.

We’re excited to continue this momentum during Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2024. Mark your calendars and join us at these exciting locations:
