Thank you, Channel Company! On July 17th, the CyberQP team wrapped up their second XChange Security event of 2024 in Frisco, TX! We enjoyed getting to connect with our partners, some new MSPs and help desk managers, and industry experts from around the channel.
Here’s a recap of what we caught on the front lines:
Cornhole and Chat | Engaging Our Partners on CyberQP’s Latest Platform Enhancements
The CyberQP booth in XChange’s Solutions Pavilion was buzzing with activity, and we enjoyed catching up our partners on some of the new products, access controls, and policies that we’ve launched in the last year.
In between games of CyberQP Cornhole, we got the chance to sit down with some new faces and talk about their thoughts on the latest cyber threats, and the solutions they were prioritizing to stay secure in today’s landscape.
Significantly, we heard from a lot of MSPs that need clearer guidance on how to sell their cybersecurity to end users and prove its value — and it was great to understand how we can give back to the MSP community. We went home, determined to offer advice on how our partners can prove the value of Privileged Access Management to their customers, whether it’s bundled into their managed security services or offered as a standalone service.
However, the engagement didn’t end with our booth time. We got the chance to catch up with our partners and new acquaintances over dinner for a meaningful and memorable evening.
From Zero to Superhero | Hear from Our Co-Founder and COO
For several MSPs, one of the highlights of the event was watching Jim Jessup, our Co-Founder and COO take the stage in the XChange boardroom for a interactive trivia game, loaded with questions to quiz attendees on cybersecurity topics (and a few fun facts from our time as Quickpass Cybersecurity), hosted by Cynthia Schreiner, CyberQP’s Senior Director of Community and Events.
Attendees also got a live demo of our Passwordless Just-in-Time Access for Technicians, backed by Multi-Factor Authentication challenges, alongside information on the methods threat actors are using to exploit privileged accounts and bypass MFA.
Evolution and Excellence | Best-in-Class Privileged Access Management
On the last day of the event, we were honored to be nominated for 5 awards at The Channel Company’s XCellence Awards Ceremony, including:
- Excellence in Security Solutions
- Excellence in Boardroom Execution
- Excellence in Solutions Pavilion Strategy
- Vendor Evolution Award
- Overall Best in Show
We were incredibly grateful to accept the Vendor Evolution Award, and the Excellence in Solutions Pavilion Strategy awards, which reflect our commitment to innovation and creativity, as well as our desire to give back to the MSP community.
